It works by mimicking a hormone called glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) that targets areas of the brain that regulate appetite and food intake. In clinical trials, patients lost an average of 15% of their body weight.

Consultation & Exam
Your provider will take time during your initial consultation to discuss your health history, current weight, your goals, review your BMI, order labs, do a physical exam, and develop a weight loss plan with prescription medication.

Medication Review
Our nurse practitioner weight loss specialist will go through the injection instructions in detail and also guide you in how to inject properly at home (once-weekly). We'll answer any questions you may have about the medication and place your initial order!
Most of our clients report noticeable results within 4 weeks of starting, with full effects of treatment taking several months or longer. We'll meet once a month (in person or via tele-health) to review your progress, answer any questions you may have, and order your next month's supply of medication.
